THE KILOMETRE ZERO EXPERIENCE

Ciao e Benvenuti...Hello and Welcome

Ever wanted to pack your bags, learn Italian and move to Italy? Whilst it may not be so easy (especially in our current climate), I hope that I can bring this same experience of Italian life to you! With Kilometre Zero, learn how to make fresh, simple, delicious Italian food all in the comfort of your own home. With century old Italian family recipes from my Nonna's, and their Nonna's, let us indulge you and your friends in this unique culinary experience. 


We cater for groups of 4-6 people (including the host). Choose your preferred menu (Umbria, Lazio or Abruzzo), invite your friends, and let us show you how easy it is to make fresh, quality Italian food, at home. 


The cost per person varies depending on which menu option is selected ranging from $65.00-$100.00pp (see menu options below for more information). 


Class times vary from a minimum of 2 hours through to a maximum of 4 hours. Please see menu options for specific time allocations.  


Our classes commence at 9:30am. Specific times/dates are subject to availablity. 


All of the family recipes that will be taught to you will also be digitally shared with you and your guests for future reference. 


All ingredients and most of the necessary equipment is included in the cost of the class.

UMBRIA

TIME: 4 HOURS 

COST PER PERSON: $100.00

This menu option would be recommended for those interested in preparing a full three course meal.

Entrée 

Nonna Grazia’s Tomato Bruschetta with a Balsamic Glaze 

Main 

Fresh Homemade Spaghetti with The Salvatore Family Napoli Sauce

Dessert 

Nonna Anna’s Tiramisu 

Suitable for vegetarians.

ABRUZZO

TIME: 3 HOURS 

COST PER PERSON: $80.00 

This menu option would be recommended for those interested in a pasta making experience.

Choose your pasta:

Fresh Homemade Spaghetti or Fettuccine

Choose your sauce:

The Salvatore Family Napoli Sauce or The Campanella Family Bolognese Sauce 


The Napoli Sauce is suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians, and is also Gluten Free.

The Bolognese Sauce is Gluten Free.

Pasta can be swapped for Zucchini Noodles for a Vegan/Gluten Free option.

LAZIO

TIME: 2 HOURS

COST PER PERSON: $65.00

This menu option would be recommended for those interested in learning about and preparing Italian antipasti (appetisers).
